Community Rail Lancashire works closely with local colleges and universities to provide work experience and volunteering opportunities for students.

We work with students to provide opportunities for them to experience the rail and community rail industry, and to enable them to explore and enhance their future career options.

Volunteering with us will enable students to gain experience not only within rail, but within education, environment and conservation, as well as promotions and marketing.

We also work with local colleges to plan and deliver structured placements, where students gain practical experience to use towards their qualifications.
