The children of St Peter’s Burnley have had an amazing time carrying out their project work!

The project began when the children travelled from Burnley Central to Accrington, having a super day learning about timetabling, safety, rail use and heritage.

The school then signed up to the ‘Revitalising Burnley Central’ project, and the children took a longer journey to Preston, collecting words in languages ranging from Chinese, to Urdu and Bengali. The children then used these words to create watercolours that represent how they feel about their local railway station and line.
